I have a Plan!

Boy do I like plans. :) I have tried not to be a planner, but man, after two weeks of being here it is sure nice to now have one. lol I know I know...

I headed out around 1 just to walk around my new neighbourhood and check things out. I ended up coming across the most lovely park area. It was so nice. I sat there for over an hour just hanging out, watching the water feature and random people walking by. There were also a few sun tanners which was nice to see. I like it most because it has grass, benches, water and the weather was beautiful. What wasn't there to like? I will definitely go back (maybe with a book next time). I then headed over to this Gelato store that Mario told me about. He was right... delicious gelato! I had the dark chocolate.... OMG! anyway, then headed home and talked to mom on Skype for about 1/2 hour.

I then phoned the Michelangelo Institute and talked to Paolo, this super nice man that works at the main desk. I ended up taking the bus down there and was there for over an hour talking with 3 different people about the courses. I ended up signing up for an Italian class that starts on Monday July 6th. It is 4hours/day, 5 days a week. I also signed up for a digital photography class that starts the same day. It runs 3 days a week for 2 hours/day. I am also looking into a cooking class because you all know how well I can cook. ;) That one runs 2 days a week for 2 hours a day. All of this is only for 4 weeks. I could have taken it way longer but feel 4 weeks should be enough that I can get by and start to learn more as I go.

After talking with my roomies last night, I was told that the best time to go travel to England, Ireland and France is July/August. So, because I am taking this class from July 6th until the 31st, I think I am going to sign up for touring around in August. I am looking into Contiki tours, which I think will be good. All in all, it was a good day of plan making.

Tomorrow I have big plans to get to Ikea if I know which bus to take. lol I'm going to make a day of it and my goal is to only spend 50 euros or less. We'll see though.... ;) lol
