Well I woke up this morning knowing full well that I have the apartment to myself for 3 whole days. I figured this would be a great opportunity to clean up a little. My apartment is a mess right now. Not just my room (even though I do need to clean it as well), the whole apartment has a nice odor going on right now. We can't open the windows during the day because it is just that hot here so that doesn't help the smell much either.
I have noticed that mostly its just the kitchen that smells but still I haven't actually seen the apartment being cleaned once since I moved in 2 months ago now so I figured I should. So I got up this morning and started by washing dishes. My plan was to wash every dish in this place as I haven't seen soap being used to clean any dishes other than the ones I wash and I have started to hoard my own clean dishes in my room (which I should never have to do). So I figured I would remedy it by washing all of them, plates, pots, glasses, cutlery, you name it, I washed it.
About 2 hours later, I had washed and dried every dish in this place that I thought I would ever come into contact with. :) I was then exhausted and figured I have 2 more days still so I relaxed, watched some tv and just vegged out. :)
I then put on a movie (Under the Tuscan Sun) and gave myself a mini pedicure with the wonderful foot spa salts and lotions that I purchased from Ikea. What don't they have?!? ;)
Tomorrow is floor washing and clean out the fridge day and then Sunday will be cleaning the bathroom day. Fun fun, that's for sure. Things I miss already? A vacuum, Mr. Clean and of course my dishwasher. :)

Sounds like you had a fun filled cleaning time. lol. If you blast the tunes that always makes it a tad more thrilling.
