Company Tomorrow!

Yeah, I can't believe it is here already! Less than 24hrs from now, Jeanette will be here and we'll either be out eating or she'll be sleeping and I will be on here blogging to you guys. Either way though, I am SOOOO excited! The last couple of days have kind of flew by with nothing really import to blog about so sorry for the couple of days without posts. I am definitely on the mend with my cold which I am so glad about.

I decided to leave the house on Sat and head to the supermarket to buy a few things. Once I got back though my key wouldn't work in the door to the apartment. I tried and tried and nothing was working. I should back up a bit and explain here that this happens sometimes. Mario told me from the beginning when we leave the apartment we have to make sure the door knob is in the proper position or it locks you out. He didn't tell me how to fix this problem though, just that I shouldn't do it. So there I was trying everything I could to try and get in. I'm sure to random people walking by I may have looked like I was trying to break in, which in actuality I guess I was in a way. UGH! I texted Mario asking him what to do and thought I should give it another shot. Just then, I must have jimmied it just the right way because it opened! YEAH! I couldn't have been happier. I texted Mario back right away so he wouldn't have to come home and let me in and then when inside and breathed a sigh of relief. :)

Yesterday I didn't leave the apartment all day. I did some cleaning up of my room, which I actually started on Friday and still tonight am not done. lol I also played alot of Texas holdem poker on Facebook. Is anyone else addicted to that game? I can't believe it. Crystal told me awhile ago I should play it and just never thought of it. Then on Saturday I thought I should give it a try and now I am hooked. I find I play it as soon as I get up in the morning and was playing on Saturday night still at 2:30am. LOL I can't stop!!!! I fully blame Crystal on it. jk :) On a happy note though, I am only winning and losing fake online money and not my own. ;)

I got to chat with most of my nieces and nephews on Skype yesterday which was really great. I miss them all so much and they are all getting so big. I can't wait for my new little nephew to show up in January. I'll then have 5 nephews and 3 nieces to keep me busy. I am very lucky.

Today I got up and hit the streets of Florence just doing some shopping. I found a lot of great stuff and was glad to get most of it done today so I can focus on just having fun once Jeanette is here. I am going to try to get the rest of my room cleaned up tonight and then veg out and watch Angels & Demons so when I go to Rome next week it will be even cooler.
