Sept 10 - Dublin to London

Well it was our last day together as a group as we headed back to London and just our luck we had to leave at 7am. Our Ferry left at 8:20 so there was no chance of sleeping in for us. On the ferry though I wandered for awhile while pretty much everyone else slept. I used the on board internet which was crazy slow but it was better than nothing and killed an hour. :)

We got off the ferry around 12pm and then had to head straight for our meeting point at the longest named town in Whales again to pick up the people that were done their Great Britain portion and were heading back to London. We ended up picking up over 20 people which we weren't really thrilled about as it was nice to have the bus to ourselves for awhile. The new group turned out to be very noisy, which I thought was a good thing and thought that they would have been a fun group.

The drive back to London was very long (our longest day drive of the whole trip) and we didn't make it back to the hotel in London until 7pm that night. I lugged my now overflowing and already expanded suitcase up to my room and then headed back down to the pub as the original 16 of us were all meeting to have one last farewell drink (coke had been my drink of choice now for a few nights) and just hang out and have some laughs. I don't think I was the first to leave but I wasn't far off. We had some tearful goodbyes and it was actually pretty sad leaving everyone. On a happy note though, there was about 7 of us that were hanging out in London for the next couple of days so we had a few more days to spend together.
