Sept 9 - Kilkenney to Dublin

We left the hotel at 8:30 this morning and arrived in Dublin by 10:30. Those that went on the Trinity College tour did and those that didn't (I opted out of that one) went and started our free day of shopping. Steve, and I ended up hanging out and just wandered around until we found a doctor Steve could go to. After that we ended up at the Hard Rock Cafe for lunch. Ross found us there and joined us for some yummy food. I had the best caesar salad. It was hot there was so much garlic in it. Mmmm After lunch we just wandered in and out of stores for a couple of hours and then just sat for awhile and waited. We didn't feel like taking in any sites and Steve was feeling like crap and I was starting to get sick so we just headed back to our meeting point and hung out.

We took the Bus back to our hotel, where we all proceeded to get dressed up and then at 6:45 we were off to our last group dinner. We went to a place called The Merry Ploughboys Restaurant. The food was great and while we were eating, the Merry Ploughboys came out and started singing. They sang pretty much the whole night. They took about a 20min-1/2hour break and during that time we had some local Irish dancers come out and preform. I totally had rock star seating as I was at the table in the center and I was only 5 seat from the stage so I really did have one of the best views out of our whole group.

On our way back to hotel that night, because we didn't have any music in the rental coach, Kim thought that it would be fun to just randomly start singing. We did sing a few songs but a few days ago she had told us that she knows how to sing Jeremiah was a Bullfrog in Japanese. lol I think she had a few drinks in her by this point and so we convinced her to sing it for us. It was awesome! I made sure I got it all on camera so I can look back and giggle at it later.
