We stopped for a break at a place called Hadrian's Wall. It was a wall that was being built way back when by the Romans to try and keep Scotland out of Britain. It was a long walk up to the wall but a cool view once up there. It was VERY windy though and we were all dressed up pretty warmly that day.
At 9pm that night we headed out to the Military Tattoo. To be honest I had never heard of it before but once there and once I heard all the hype surrounding it I couldn't wait. I wore about 6 layers that night as it was very very cold out and we were sitting on the top of the mountain at the castle. The walk getting there was crazy. Edinburgh is built to have different layers of streets. So one minute you could be on one level and then the next you could be walking up about 100 stairs to get to the next street level (which is exactly what we did). :{ The Tattoo was really good though and I really enjoyed it. ReplyDeleteYes and the answer is no! lol Originally it was because they just couldn't afford underwear. Now I think it is just a traditional thing but I do think that most men do wear undies under there kilts. Good question though. ;)
